honestly, i'm making this more for your sake than mine. i personally don't care much whether or not the people i follow or who follow me disagree with me or the things i engage with. but, you should probably not interact with me if you:

  • meet typical dni criteria (racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc.)

  • are uncomfortable with horror, gore, monsters, kink, pro-shippers, etc.

  • engage in any kind of science denialism (anti-vaxx, climate change skepticism, gender critical, etc.)

  • harass content creators that make content you personally find distasteful

  • assume that the kind of content i engage with reflects my morals and values

currently, I'm mostly involved with RP on SL. character information may be available on toyhouse, google document, carrd, or in-world via notecard, but I can't promise that it's all up to date information! assume that the character information I show you is a work in progress. on SL, I also have worked on RP sims as part of building and lore-writing staff, as well as heading up IC-factions and hosting IC events.if you're interested in RPing with me, discord is probably the best place to reach me! generally, I prefer to RP over discord in private servers, but I'm flexible.

rp rules

  • 18+ only. I am not willing to compromise on this rule. The type of content I typically RP features dark, mature themes, and I am not comfortable RPing that with children.

  • My favorite things to explore in RP are horror and dark themes, queer sexuality, solarpunk settings, transhumanist philosophy, etc. Give me a good hook, though, and I'm happy to hash out a scene that doesn't fit these qualities!

  • I'm ERP/kink friendly, as long as you negotiate with me ahead of time. If I say no, I mean no.

  • Please be patient with me! I have ADHD, and there are going to be late replies, dropped threads, etc. If you're currently waiting on a reply from me, feel free to give a gentle reminder or talk to me about how the scene's going.

betelguese takes its inspiration from works like octavia butler's parable of the sower, hayao miyazuki's nausicaä of the valley of the wind and princess mononoke, and lovecraftian horror. there's also nods to real-world instances— like the long-time nuclear waste warning messages written on the billboard. in short, it's about life, destruction, and recovery.on betelgeuse, you'll find life thriving in the ruins of the past; moss grows in the cracks of the paved streets, half-ruined stone walls cut through forests and hills, and long-abandoned bus stations with dimly glowing signs. much of the decor is space-themed, reflecting the destiny of earthseed: to take root among the stars.
